I have always been a morning person,

no matter how little sleep I have, I always have no problem waking up from my bed.

Since I was a toddler my parents and family members sleeping in the same room would

annoyingly brush me away when I woke up at 5 AM in the morning and disturb their peaceful slumber..

When I was a teenager studying in Singapore, every single day, without fail, I would woke up at 5.36 AM..

right at the dot.. I believe that every human have their body clock.. and no matter how late I sleep, this body clock of mine always woke me up at 5:36.. it can be a blessing, but it can also be a nuisance, especially if it is on a Sunday morning..

Nonetheless I for one adore the morning…. everything is peaceful, quiet and majestic…

I find that I can conquer the world when I woke up in the morning, and that I did not waste any time to do the things that I have to do, in order to conquer the world..

this is so true! Recently after becoming a CEO of my own company, STRANGELY I would wake up at 2 AM thinking it is 6 or 7, and I seriously can’t wait to get back to the office and work.. WOW what an extraordinary feeling! AWESOME!

Here are my top 5 tips for those sleepy heads that finds it hard to wake up to the morning sunrise:

1. No matter how hard it is, drag both your feet and touch the ground.

This always work for me, when both my barefoot touches the cold ceramic ground.. I am AWAKE!

2. Always snooze for about 3-5 minutes

Don’t force yourself up when you know you are going to fall flat on your pillow again,

allow 3-5 minutes of sleep, sometimes your body need the “right time” to wake up. DONT put a slow sounding snooze alert, as it will not wake you up!

3. Sleep smart, not too much

I never sleep longer than 5 hours, and I think it is enough for me.. you have to know how long you have to sleep, not how long you need or want to sleep..

4. Take a shower immediately in the morning..

This is good, we need it in the morning! it will definitely wakes you up!

5. Have a good breakfast

I can’t stress how important this is, but It will definitely make your day,

try and make your own breakfast, be it tossing an omelette, slicing your own bread,

make it yourself, and eat deliciously! It is sooo rewarding, trust me..
